Pastor Chris

Reverend Chris Dion is Faith Lutheran’s first pastor. She helped bring three congregations together to form one church. By honoring their traditions, she has helped Faith find new ways to worship, serve, and connect with the community. Her ministry focuses on sharing God’s love and building relationships.
After earning a B.A. in psychobiology from Mount Holyoke College, Pastor Chris received her Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg in 2004. Since then, she has served several area Lutheran churches as a pastor, transitional pastor, and consultant.
Today, she enjoys finding new ways to worship and serve in a changing world. She also values relationships across generations, connections with people of different faiths, and social justice.
Pastor Chris lives in East Granby in a lively, multi-generational household with several pets. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and making memories with family.
Most of all, whether you are a longtime member or visiting Faith for the first time, Pastor Chris welcomes the chance to connect in person, by phone, or on Zoom.
