Meals for Neighbors

Whether you need a meal, groceries, or a way to give back, you are welcome here.

Meals for Neighbors provides free meals and groceries to neighbors facing food insecurity in the greater Bristol area. Since 1982, this ministry has served our community with the help of dedicated volunteers and generous local support. It was formerly the focus ministry of Zion Lutheran Church and continues this important work as part of the Faith Lutheran community. Find us at the Faith Lutheran Annex, formerly Zion Lutheran Church, on 27 Judd Street, Bristol, CT 06010

Free Meals and Groceries

Soup Kitchen

Join us for a free, hot meal! Our volunteers prepare and serve meals three evenings each week. Everyone is welcome, with no conditions for receiving a meal.

  • Days: Monday–Wednesday
  • Time: 4:30 p.m.

Food Pantry

Our food pantry works like a small grocery store. You can choose the foods that best meet your household’s needs. Local volunteers run the pantry, and community partners help us provide food through local store food rescue programs.

We also serve as a designated Connecticut Foodshare distribution site.

  • Days: Tuesday–Thursday
  • Hours: 10–10:30 a.m.

Clothing Donations

Saint Pauly Shed is light brown with dark brown accents on the doors. Signs on the shed show where to drop off clothing.

We welcome clothing donations at our St. Pauly Shed at Faith Lutheran Church, 1125 Stafford Avenue, Bristol, CT.

We no longer take secondhand clothing at our Judd Street location. Please do not drop off clothing donations there.
